At Little Explorers, we recognise the importance of a healthy and balanced diet for children's overall health, and to help them feel at their best and ready to learn & play.
We aim to offer a wide range of fruit, vegetables and proteins to provide your children with the best start in life. Our menus are created in line with the nutrition guidelines set out by the Welsh Assembly Government.
Our staff have undertaken several training courses in regard to childhood nutrition, holding an Agored Cymru level 2 Community Food & Nutrition skills for early years qualification. We are proud to provide good quality, home cooked meals. We are part of the Veg Cities program, pledging to serve at least 2 portions of vegetables each lunchtime & reduce food waste. We also hold a Healthy Snack Award Plus, which means our snacks are guaranteed to be healthy and approved by the Welsh Assembly Government.

We offer a 3 weekly menu that changes in line with the seasons and reflects the produce available. These are drawn up in consultation with parents and children and we try to offer a range of new foods to try as well as some old favourites.

We cater to all food requirements and hold allergy management certificates. If you have any queries regarding this, please do let us know. Below is an example of our menu.
